Welcome to the first disaster and crisis special initiative update

We held our first cross-team meeting with researchers from all disaster response project teams on Wednesday, August 5.

The online meeting provided an excellent opportunity to hear from researchers and the regional campus managers on how to best coordinate and undertake research alongside disaster-affected communities in our region.

Survey: Communication and collaboration

We'd like to hear how we can best facilitate communication between teams to ensure a collaborative approach, especially when working in vulnerable communities.

We have compiled a list of useful resources on mental health, thanks to Katharine Haynes and Joshua Whittaker available on OneDrive. If you have any relevant resources to add to a resource library on topics that might be relevant to all disaster and crisis research teams please email us.
