Wireless Industry Safety Task Force Launches
100% Tie-Off 24/7 Website

(Watertown, South Dakota) – The Wireless Industry Safety Task Force today launched a special section on the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) website devoted to the 100% Tie-Off 24/7 Awareness Campaign. This enhanced 100% Tie-Off 24/7 website contains safety resources and information designed to make tower industry personnel and stakeholders aware of the standards and compliance directives that govern fall protection.

“The Wireless Industry Safety Task Force is excited to offer this new website page as a resource to the industry,” said Task Force member and NATE Chairwoman Pat Cipov. “The Task Force is encouraging all employers to incorporate the resources included on this website during next week’s OSHA National Safety Stand Down efforts and into their respective company’s safety and health tailgate talks,” exclaimed Cipov.

To engage industry-wide participation, the website page includes a 100% Tie-Off 24/7 Commitment Certificate, a safety poster, a public service announcement and a photo album. The website also contains the Wireless Industry Safety Task Force meeting summaries in order to keep the industry updated on the progress the Task Force is making to achieve sustainable safety improvements in the industry.

“The Wireless Industry Safety Task Force is asking all employers to create a culture of safety within their respective companies by requiring all employees to sign the 100% Tie-Off 24/7 Commitment Certificate,” stated NATE Executive Director Todd Schlekeway. “The 100% Tie-Off 24/7 Commitment Certificate can be printed directly from this website and is designed to be a pact between an employer and employee to affirm the practice of 100% Tie-Off 24/7,” Schlekeway emphasized.
