WNH CLOSED, Field Trip to Cat's Corner
We are braising the turkey, WNH will be closed! However, for those of you whose feet get too itchy to dance on Wednesdays, we hope to see you at Cat's Corner in San Francisco. Cat's Corner is a great venue up in the city that we never get to visit due to scheduling conflict; but the Thanksgiving week is one time of year where we get to go and meet the city's Wednesday dancers! We hope you can join us; make plans with your friends, plan a carpool, and watch our Facebook event page.
WNH enrolled students will get $5 admission to the dance party or $5 off a drop-in Lindy class. Carpool drivers of 3 or more people can get free admission.

December Series: Sneak Preview
Level 1 (8:15pm - 9:15pm)

8-Count Lindy
The swingout is frequently known as a cornerstone move of Lindy Hop. This class will introduce you to the 8-count basic and even more swingout technique and variations to get you flying on the dance floor in no time!
PRE-REQUISITES: None. No partner required; just bring your enthusiasm and comfortable clothes!
Level 2 (7:15pm - 8:15pm)

Flashy Charleston
Spice up your Lindy language with some fast-paced, flashy Charleston. Your trusty guides will navigate you through the ins and outs and all of the awesome variations in between.
PRE-REQUISITES: Level 1A-D; twice through recommended. Execute a swingout, lindy circle, charleston and 6-count moves and transition between them in open and closed positions. No partner required, just bring your enthusiasm!
Level 3 (7:15pm - 8:15pm)

Epiphanies
Learning never stops! Whether you're a complete beginner, or a seasoned instructor, you keep discovering things about your dancing that blow your mind and change *everything*. In these series, every week a different set of instructors will share their revelations with you.
Week 1: Music and the Movement
Week 2: Jazz Step Improv
Week 3: No Rocky Redirects
PRE-REQUISITES: At least nine consecutive months of Level 1 and Level 2 including one full year of social dance, or discuss your eligibility with instructors. Under-qualified students will be asked to transfer to Level 2 in order to strengthen their fundamentals.

Balboa & Beyond
Want to make your balboa even more shuffley, flowy, and musical? We've spent all year building up our fundamentals, so now let's see what we can do with them! We'll be covering higher-level technique, moves, variations, as well as classic combinations. Get ready to be challenged and have fun!
PRE-REQUISITES: Completion of Balboa Level 1 & Balboa Level 2 at least once. Should know & feel comfortable with: uphold, down hold, come around, ad-libs, toss outs, lollies, swivels. No partner required; just bring your enthusiasm and comfortable clothes!

Please forgive us if we get a bit *too* excited for Double or Nothing's performance this week!
But they've been around for fifteen years, and many of us have been a part of this wacky dance troupe at one point of another. In fact, they've had 64 members over the course of their existence, and have created 30 choreographies! (All silly in one way or another, let us assure you.) We are very excited to have them celebrate their fifteenth anniversary by bringing together as many alumni as could attend (some of the alumni live now as far as Singapore!), and performing their most classical routine, Darktown Strutters' Ball. Join us and enjoy the performance!
