Disseminating Innovative Solutions to Antibiotic Resistance Management

 

DISARM is ready for take off!

After months of work behind the scenes since our kick-off meeting in January, DISARM is celebrating its public launch! 

We encourage farmers, veterinarians, agricultural advisors and other industry players to join us in sharing strategies for reducing antibiotic requirements on livestock farms.

About the DISARM Project

This short introductory video explains how DISARM will help to combat the threat of antibiotic resistance. 

Our focus is on collaborative working and communication to highlight key ways to prevent disease on farms so that fewer antibiotic treatments are required.

 
 
 

Join the DISARM Community of Practice on Facebook

A space to discuss useful tools and techniques for ensuring the health of farmed animals and reducing antibiotic usage. 

Discussion topics will include; breeding, genetics and early life management for robust and resilient animals; housing; feed, water and additives; precision livestock technologies; and biosecurity.
