VIDEO: interview with organisers of the "Mathematics of deep learning" programme. The "Mathematics of deep learning" programme has been running since 1 July and will continue until 17 December, with participants attending both in person at INI in Cambridge and connecting online with the workshops, seminars and discussions. In this video interview, organisers Anders Hansen, Gitta Kutyniok, Peter Bartlett and Carola-Bibiane Schönlieb discuss its theme, challenges and potential outcomes in the months and years to come. LIVING PROOF PODCAST: Quanta, MoMath and communicating mathematics with Alex Kontorovic. In episode #32 of Living Proof, Dan Aspel and Christie Marr are joined by Alex Kontorovic. A professor of mathematics at Rutgers University, Alex is also the 2020-21 distinguished visiting professor for the public dissemination of mathematics at MoMath (or, put more formally, the National Museum of Mathematics in New York City), a Scientific Board Member of Quanta magazine, and a passionate communicator of his subject. 00:00 – Introduction
