EWA RECOMMENDS NOMINATE FOR EVENT ENTRIES AND SCORING

Are you running an event? EWA recommends nominate for event entries and scoring.

EWA is proud to support Nominate the only Equestrian event entry system that links with the EA membership database . The benefits to EWA is that entries are checked at the time of entry to ensure that membership is current and horses are registered if required. When events use Nominate ScoreBoard, the results are links to the EA member database with both EWA and the Club benefiting with reduced administration costs to the Sport. Part of the Nominate event entry fee is returned to EA providing valuable support for EA that reduces the administration cost for all members.

The ScoreBoard scoring system caters for all EA Sports except vaulting and carriage driving, providing live scoring for riders and spectators directly to your phone. ScoreBoard is totally free to use and if the event also uses Nominate as the event entry system to two systems link such entries automatically flow from one.

Live Score Dressage was used at the WA Dressage Championships with great success. This paperless system provides a digital copy of dressage tests and instant scoring, providing real-time scoring movement by movement and provisional placings.

ONLY 4 WEEKS TO GO!

"Through the Levels" Masterclass

Only 4 weeks left until the Ultimate Master of Dressage, Carl Hester MBE, touches down in Perth for his renowned “Through the Levels” Masterclass at the State Equestrian Centre on Monday 14 October! How exciting!
We’ll be announcing the lucky riders chosen for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity over the coming weeks, but in the meantime don’t forget to grab your tickets from TryBooking before they sell out. 

We know it’s a ‘school night’, but don’t stress about dinner because we have it covered. There’ll be a range of food choices on offer both before and during the event, including Indian, Mexican and burgers, along with the all-important bar and a coffee van. Bring your wallet too, because there’ll be plenty of goodies for sale at the La Noir Saddleworld, Spooks Riding, Pimp My Pony and County Saddlery trade stalls. We’ll also be selling $5 raffle tickets, giving you the chance to win a PDS saddle from the Carl Hester Collection kindly donated by La Noir Saddleworld, and special event caps which are great for Carl to sign for only $20.

Gates open at 2.30pm before the masterclass class kicks off at 4.30pm. The evening concludes with an autograph session.

Entries are steadily coming in for the ARCA Spring Challenge hosted by Orange Grove ARC. Have you got yours in? It's great to see the numbers in the higher and team classes. Where are our Preparatory riders?! Orange Grove will be running a healthy canteen on the day and there will be a coffee van on site. You can submit your entry via Nominate.

 

Featured Events

Bakers Hill ARC are holding an unoffical dressage competition on the 6th of October, offering the same tests as the upcoming Spring Challenge. The perfect opportunity for one last practice! 

Eastern Wheatbelt Riding Club are running an Encouragement Breed Show Trilogy to support the equestrian sections at their local Agricultural Shows. Entrants who attend all three shows will go into a special prize draw and there are lovely sashes and rosettes on offer. Ag Shows are an EXCELLENT environment for desensitisation of young or green horses, and because the classes are inhand there is no pressure to ride! EOI: TWO-DAY TECHNICAL LARGE ANIMAL RESCUE COURSE IN 2020

WOULD YOU KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH AN EMERGENCY LIKE THESE?

Expressions of interest are being sought for a Two Day Technical Large Animal Rescue Course in 2020 and a One Day Refresher Course for participants from any of our four previous LAR Courses.

Learn how to safely rescue animals from difficult and dangerous situations.
Vet Ed points and a recognised accreditation certificate will be awarded on completion.

Dates will be dependent on the availability of the trainer.

Cost for the  course will be $200 / day and includes lunch and morning and afternoon tea.
