Have your say on the Hendra Working Group's recommendations

Equestrian Australia’s Hendra Working Group has presented its report to the EA National Board who now invites feedback on the recommendations.

Members who wish to provide feedback on the recommendations should use the online form, available via the link below. Feedback may be submitted up until 15 February 2016 at which point it will be provided to the Board for consideration.

Meantime Equestrian Australia has been advised by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) that it will permit the continuation of a notification lodged by EA allowing event organising committees to require Hendra vaccination as a condition of entry. MORE


Duo Mary Hanna and Umbro show excellent form in the CDI-W Pacific League Final at Saddleworld Dressage Festival

Olympian Mary Hanna and Umbro won the Pacific League World Cup Final CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle at the 2015 Saddleworld Dressage Festival with a score of 73.725% after winning the Grand Prix. The combination pleased both the judges and the crowd with a technical choreography and earned the right to represent Australia in the World Cup Final in Gothenburg (SWE) in March 2016. Lyndal Oatley sets new Australian record in Sweden

An in-form Lyndal Oatley and her London Olympic mount Sandro Boy have set a new Australian record at the Sweden International Horse Trials CDI-W Grand Prix.

On their way to a top five finish the pair received a score of 72.800% in the Grand Prix which eclipses Oatley's previous personal best of 72.680% which came at the 2014 Deauville CDI3*.
