Nourishing Your Entire Being with Mindful EatingThursday, May 4, 7-8:30 p.m., Healing Arts Studio, 15 W. Highland Ave.
We've all done it — eating at our desks, grabbing a bite in the car, reaching for the cookies because we've had a rough day. With a mindful approach, not only can we improve how we eat, but actually help our bodies assimilate nutrients better. Learn the tenets of mindfulness and food and how to identify eating triggers, tune into satiety cues and better understand emotional attachments to food. This free workshop sponsored by the Weavers Way Health & Wellness Committee
is led by functional clinical nutritionist Wendy Romig. REGISTER HERE.
