PNA HIGHLIGHTS & HAPPENINGS
The PNA Wine Taste safely brought together more than two hundred tasters for an intimate evening in the Blue Building on March 5. Nine wineries offered more than thirty wines to sip, ponder, and purchase at the event wine store. Tasters mingled with winemakers as the sounds of corks, conversation, and laughter filled the space like wine in a tasting glass. The Wine Taste raised almost $9,200 for our vital programs and showed the talent of Washington winemakers and the warmth of our community.
Did you know that 46% of Americans struggle to afford pads and tampons? It’s called Period Poverty. We've partnered with Seattle T2P2 on a drive to help raise pads and tampons for people experiencing homelessness, people with a low-income, and students. Add boxes of tampons and pads to the bin in our Blue Building lobby and honor Women's History Month today!
Mardi Gras came to our Greenwood Senior Center early with Karnivale Bingo Karaoke on Fri, Feb. 25! Over 100 revelers joined the party and helped raise almost $7,000 for our GSC programs and activities. Thank you to everyone who made our fête a time to remember. Bingo Karaoke returns with Friday the 13th Bingo Karaoke on May 13 and tickets go on sale April 15 at 10 am. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Join us at Reuben's Brews tonight to learn more about our Hot Meal Program. Reuben's will donate $1 per crowler sold, and there will be a Hot Meal Program donation bin where you can give dental care, personal hygiene, and first aid supplies that our diners need.
