Martha's MessageDear Parents, The FCIS visit earlier this week went very well! The team spent two days on campus and reviewed all of our policies, documents, financials, By-laws, curricula, etc. They were so positive and particularly complimentary of our faculty, staff, students, program, and facilities. We won't receive a written report or official document regarding approval for re-accreditation for a few weeks as it has to go before the FCIS Board. I was so proud of our school and look forward to a wonderful year ahead! Fondly, Important: BES Students Should Wear Regular Uniforms on Friday, September 21st; Jaguars Spirit Day on Monday, September 24thParents, please send your students in regular school uniforms on Friday, September 21st as we will be taking a couple of marketing pictures of the entire student body. On Monday, September 24th, BES will have Jaguars Spirit Day. On this day, students may dress in Jaguars t-shirts, Spirit Wear, or regular uniform tops with uniform bottoms. Thank you for your cooperation. No longer just a numbers game, math class is increasingly centered on conceptual understanding and reasoning. Students need to be able to use language to formulate, synthesize, and communicate their mathematical thinking. Join us for our first PSO General meeting where you’ll hear more about our math program at BES. Ms. Bittengle and Mrs. Cinnamond will be our featured speakers. The PSO General Meeting will take place on Thursday, September 27th right after morning carpool (approximately 8:00 a.m. in the Hope Hall Music Room). RSVP by sending an email to Nicole Limbaugh in the front office. We hope you'll make plans now to attend!
