Hi

Welcome to the New Year’s edition of johnson banks did this: an update on projects, thoughts, and articles about us and our work in the last 6 months or so. (If this arrived by mistake, just unsubscribe and apologies for the intrusion). Feel free to forward to others who might enjoy it, or want to subscribe. And, of course, give us a call if there’s something in your life that needs rebranding

So who are Unicef here for?

We’ve been working with Unicef in the UK, helping the organisation clarify what it stands for and why it’s here. In research less than 40% of people associated them with children. We had to change that – and give them a clear fundraising platform to take forward.

European Bank for, er, what exactly?

We’ve been helping the small business team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development explain their work. It meant finding a core idea that can work across 18 languages, in over 30 countries, and a visual and verbal toolkit to match. Have a look and see how we got on.

Data can change the world

We’ve rebranded the pioneers of open data, Open Knowledge. With their punchy manifesto and identity drawn from live data, they’re ready now to take on the world.

Mlinda: means change

Mlinda are based in Paris, with a Swahili name, and projects in India. Luckily, we’ve managed to help them clarify exactly who and what they are with this radical brand identity.

From child to child

Child-to-Child are a small charity, but we gave them a big and beautiful idea.

Museums: meet branding
