When Are We Going to Open? That’s the question on all our minds as we await the governor’s new pronouncement. Can you believe we’ve been locked down together for eleven weeks now? So with the rest of the nation slowly opening back up, when will Michigan be unlocked and we can go back to church? That will be the question on the minds of your church leaders—the Pioneer board and the board of elders—this next Tuesday evening. When are we going to open? And how should we open? Shall we open all at once for Sabbath
services? Read More | Subscribe to Blog

Thank-you for Your Prayers for
New York and The TentThanks to your intercessions, God has been blessing the nightly ministry of the “Healing Hope” series for New York City. I have sensed your prayers as I preach each evening live to those gathered on the East Coast and the island of Bermuda. We have two theme texts for this series: “In all our affliction, He is afflicted” (Isaiah 63:9), and “Love suffers long” (1 Corinthians 13:4)—two good news promises from God in this season of national and global suffering. Please keep praying as we move through the week to Saturday evening. (If you have friends or family in New York City, it isn’t too late to invite them—www.nyhealinghope.org.)
And thank you for your prayers for "The Tent" our Junior High students who begin a very important evangelistic endeavor this Friday night. Much closer to home, let's join together in cheering them on in their Kingdom mission.

Family, Faith, & Fun!Bugs. Bugs can definitely be annoying, but they can also be very fascinating if you stop and look at them closely. They can have interesting features, movements, homes, and jobs. Spend some time this week on a bug hunt. Look at the flowers, grass, bushes, trees, dirt, driveway cracks, under logs/stones/other objects. See how many different varieties you can find and notice what their outstanding features are: legs, wings, fuzzy, iridescent, shell? Notice what they are
doing: collecting pollen, building a home, finding food, something else? Use a magnifying glass if possible. Think about what possible benefit each bug is to the environment.
If bugs aren’t your thing, take some time to notice the special things about each family member. What are their outstanding qualities? Have each family member tell or write down what they think is special about the others and why life is better with them in it!
COVID-19 ResourcesSelf-isolating because of COVID-19? We are here to help! We have a team of volunteers who can help pick up things for you like groceries or medicine, and they can even call you to pray with you. Let us know how we can help!
