Ruby Celebrates Five Years Cancer-Free

A four metre long string of beads adorns Ruby’s bedroom wall. This colourful and meaningful string is a source of great pride for Ruby and her family.

Diagnosed at the age of two, there were moments when Ruby's mother Bec thought Ruby would never have a first day at school. Now, she is a student, a hip-hop dancer and has reached a major milestone: 5 years cancer-free.

Thank You for Supporting the Foundation in 2016

In this edition, I am pleased to share with you Ruby's heartwarming story of recovery.

The unwavering support the Foundation receives from generous individuals and organisations ensures we can continue to fund projects that help young children like Ruby, all while keeping our costs at a minimum. Thank you for making this possible.

At this time of year we also turn our thoughts to the children whose journey ended too soon. Through our Special Named Funds program, we are honoured to help families pay tribute to their child and raise funds for a specific project or field of research that is important to their family.

Best wishes for a healthy and happy 2017.
