Imagine Registration

September 30-October 3 are Registration Nights in the community. NEW this year:  We are partnering with 4 churches that do ministry in the areas most of our guests live.  We will be highlighting their churches and working together to spread the love and invitation to Christ.  Our partners are:

  • Jesus House
  • Calvary Baptist
  • Mt. Pisgah
  • Mt. Moriah

Registration Nights are the time we have our first touch with the majority of our guests who come to Imagine.  We have the opportunity to:

  • Greet them
  • Pray with them and gather prayer requests
  • Share the love Christ
  • Invite them to church
  • Find out what their family needs

We need your help!  Please sign up today for one of the following roles - training is provided for all on Monday, September 16th:

  • Greeter ~ Welcome people and help keep organized flow
  • Host ~ Meet guests one-on-one, listen, laugh, pray and gather prayer requests and needs for their family
  • Data Entry ~ Enter the client's information into the computer.  We need folks who have their own laptop.

GEMS Serving Opportunities

GEMS - God Embracing Moms who are Single fires up Tuesday, September 10th!  This dynamic group has anywhere from 50-80 moms per night with over 100 kids and 30+ volunteers!

The GEMS receive a free meal for mom and kids, childcare, great Bible teaching and fellowship.  Many of the women who come do not go to church - so this is an exciting outreach ministry!

How can you help?

  • Serve and sponsor a meal:  Get your small group together, pick a night and come out to serve the meal.  Contact Maggie Nelson (309-830-0630) for more details.
  • Provide a ride for a family who can't get here:  Contact Vicki Bennett  (309-530-5640) for more details.

Food Pantry - Food Drives

Through September 28th, visit Meijer and support The Bridge Food Pantry at Eastview! September 5-7 are double donation days.  When you buy a $10 gift card from the display at checkout, Meijer will double match!  That makes your $10 gift become $30!
