The Canadian Philanthropy Commitment on Climate Change is a pan-Canadian pledge, housed at PFC, and aims to support funders in integrating climate change into their programming and giving. Our implementation programming will be launched in February.

GIV3: INTRODUCING PIVITOR

A new crowdsourcing platform for all Canadians

GIV3, a national charity aimed at encouraging more Canadians to give, has announced the launch of Pivitor, a new crowdsourcing platform. 

GIV3 is inviting ALL Canadians to share their policy suggestions, evaluate and rate others’ ideas, raise awareness and build engagement, in order to help drive policy makers towards building a stronger, more civil charitable sector.

PFC congratulates Arti Freeman as the inaugural CEO of the Definity Insurance Foundation. Arti has nearly 20 years’ experience in the philanthropic sector, most recently leading partnership investments at Ontario Trillium Foundation, one of Canada’s largest grantmaking foundations.

Her leadership at the new Definity Insurance foundation will be an exciting addition to the Canadian philanthropic landscape.
