WELCOME to the JULY eNews

Hi there!

I write this to you half way through Day 1 of Barossa Christian Life Week! I know there are a number of CLW's happening these school holidays in SA, QLD, and VIC. We have learnt that CLW's provide a peak experience which is an important step in the faith formation process.

WHY? Here are 3 reasons….
1 They create mountain tops
2 They create memories
3 They create shared experiences

We wish all the campers, leaders and cooks a wonderful time away full of God's blessings! Praying that His Spirit will move in a mighty way and change the lives of many!

NEW TEAM MEMBER

Grow Ministries is excited to announce to you the newest member of our team - Rachel Schilling. Rachel is the new Curator and Congregation Mentor for Grow and we look forward to Rachel sharing her many talents with us. Rachel comes from Buderim in sunny QLD.

Rachel's role will allow Grow to provide a curating service that will highlight some of the best on-line resources available to enhance child, youth and family ministry and at the same time allow church leaders to be confident they are using resources that are LCA recommended/approved. So watch this space!

H2H / FINK RECHARGE in the Riverland

Monty Lysne is about to head home to the States but before he goes he is going to do one last workshop about Head to Heart and Faith Inkubators. This workshop will be held in the Riverland so if that’s near you - head on over and take advantage of this great opportunity!
 

WHEN:    Sunday July 19 | 2.00 – 4.00 pm
WHERE: St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Peace Hall | Loxton
COST:     FREE!!
WHO:      Any interested people, both veteran users and beginners

• The philosophy behind H2H

GAP YEAR COORDINATOR POSTION

Lutheran Youth of Queensland (LYQ) are advertising for a Gap Year Coordinator (3 days per week) to join their team.

Their role will be to develop the program and deliver it next year.

Application packages are available from the LYQ, give them a call on (07) 3511 4080.
