We are in need of volunteers to help setup the venue for the dance in October, and to work the front desk during the classes and the dance. If you are available, it would be much appreciated as we are short staffed. Compensation for volunteering
As a thanks for helping out, compensation for our volunteers is as follows:
Free admission to classes
Eligibility: If you would like free admission to our monthly classes in exchange for volunteering, you must commit to working the required shift time every week for that month.
1 hour per week = free admission to one class of your choice and the dance
1.5+ hours per week = free admission to two classes of your choice and the dance
These options are only available if sign-ups are submitted by 11:59pm the Monday prior to the first Wednesday of each month.
You will get a separate class confirmation email before the first Wednesday Night Hop of that month.
Free admission to the dance
Eligibility: 30 minutes of volunteering will give you free access to the social dance. Please note that compensation applies only to the same night you volunteer. It cannot be transferred to a different date.
Shift requests for each Wednesday must be submitted by 12pm noon on Tuesday the day before.
And if you just want to volunteer out of the goodness of your heart, we dearly appreciate it!
The final volunteer schedule will be sent out Tuesday night (or Wednesday morning). Please check the schedule carefully to see your name and assigned shift time. If you sign up to volunteer and do not receive an email with the schedule by 12pm noon on Wednesday, please reach out via the email below.
Shifts are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis so the sooner you sign up on this google form https://forms.gle/kDM6q3pV1sQB8SKN6, the better the chance of getting the shift time that you want. If you have any questions or need help signing up, email volunteers@wednesdaynighthop.com
