Work is progressing well across the 5.9km route. And unlike other sections of the expressway the travelling public get a good view of progress as they drive through the site.
Longswamp is essentially widening the existing SH1 route to accommodate four lanes, and improving the local road network, which includes a bridge over the expressway at Paddy Road, so local people can move north and south to the interchanges.
