The NZ Transport Agency has been exploring ways to improve the safety and efficiency of the State Highway 2 (SH2) Corridor between Waihi and Tauranga. In April Transport Minister Hon Simon Bridges announced a $520 million programme to transform the Waihi to Tauranga Corridor.
