RailModeller Pro 5.2 - Now featuring tunnel sections and image import

Our app RailModeller Pro for macOS (OS X) has just been updated to version 5.2 on the Mac App Store.
RailModeller Pro is one of the best solutions for designing model railroad and slot car layouts currently available on macOS.

PLANNING TUNNEL SECTIONS

Earlier this year our update to version 5.1 introduced support for creating tunnel sections.

Tunnel sections - freely customizable in appearance - are supplemented by tunnel portals automatically placed by the app between plain and tunnel tracks.

This makes it easy to distinguish visible sections of tracks from tracks running underground and provides a great way to communicate the ideas of your layout.

IMAGE IMPORT

Our latest update RailModeller Pro 5.2 now offers the ability to import images into layouts.

Import original plans, Google or Apple Maps, aerial photography, or hand drawn sketches and use them as a template for building your model train layouts.
Complex room shapes or even a bird's-eye view of your garden are easily integrated to be used as a basis for your planning.

Images are imported into layouts by simply dropping the image file on the document window in RailModeller Pro - it's that easy.

A variety of modern file formats is supported, including PNG, JPEG, PSD, GIF, TIFF, and PDF (plus many others).

These are just the core features of our recent, major upgrades. We are however continuously improving the functionality of our app: The news section on our web site lists the improvements and changes for each major update and maintenance release.
