AAFP CME: COVID-19 Physician Well-Being in the time of the PandemicPresented by Mark Greenawald, MD - Professor and Vice Chair of Family Medicine and Community Medicine at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTC) and UAFP Board President Kyle Bradford Jones, MD, FAAFP – Associate Professor (Clinical) in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Upon completion of this session:1. Physicians should be able to apply skills learned in order to alleviate the stress and cope with the trauma experienced while providing care to patients in the time of a global pandemic. 2. Learners will be able to develop strategies that encourage peer-to-peer support within practice that can benefit well being during a crisis. 3. Physicians should be able to develop an actionable strategy to help them cope with stress and anxiety that aligns with their practice style, values, and availability.
