Summer STMs Have Begun!
Participate with Prayer

My heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.

The following schedule is meant to encourage prayer for well over 200 individuals who will be serving as short-term missionaries this summer...and for those they will seek to reach with the gospel through their various ministries.

Families, friends, and congregations can pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual protection for short-term missionaries; for growth in servanthood, missionary zeal, and boldness in witness...

2019 STM Prayer Calendar

June - August

• House Parents and Volunteer Staff from seventeen churches (twelve of them OPC) from around the country are scheduled to serve at the Boardwalk Chapel, Wildwood, NJ, throughout the summer

June 22 - 29

• Week 1 at the Boardwalk Chapel, Wildwood, NJ:
  • Ministry Team from Shiloh OPC (Raleigh, NC)

June 22 - 29

• Outreach and Encouragement in Puerto Rico:
  • Team from Church of the Covenant (Hackettstown, NJ)

June 22 - July 4

• Team Haiti:
  • Team includes members of OPC churches in Arizona, California, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas

June 24 - 28

• Week 1 English for Kids Bible Camp, Quebec City, Quebec:
  • Team includes members of OPC churches in Williamsport, PA; Franklin Square, NY; and Staunton, VA

• Week 2 at the Boardwalk Chapel, Wildwood, NJ:

• Short-term missionary from Grace Covenant OPC (Sheffield, Ontario) serving as a teacher in Karamoja, Uganda

Summer STM Opportunities

Boardwalk Chapel Ministry Team Leaders say:

“I arrived at the chapel with thirteen mice, and a week later I left with thirteen lions. The Boardwalk Chapel is at the same time a safe house for fellowship, and a bootcamp for zeal; a haven of prayer and a hive of song. It is all these things and more because the Lord has so obviously been pleased to use it.”

“I see this as a great opportunity for church members of all ages to be trained in evangelism and grow in boldly speaking of Christ. Team members return home with a greater enthusiasm to practice evangelism in their community.”
