Your guide to January exams

Find out how to plan your route, what to take with you and other helpful information about how to prepare for your semester two exams.

It's important to look after yourself while you're studying. Read on for some guidance on where to go for additional support if you need it.

Access your semester 2 timetable

Your semester 2 timetable will be available from Wednesday 13 December. Access it in MyBeckett or via the Leeds Beckett app.

Connect to Eduroam for a better wi-fi experience

Connect to our recently upgraded Eduroam service for a wi-fi service that's twenty times faster than vistor wi-fi! Here's how.

Don't throw it, give it

Got a load of stuff to get rid of before you go home? Drop your unwanted clothes, books and food off at our Students' Union's collection points across campus to support the SU thrift shop and homeless and refugee charities across the city. Collections close 12 December.

Leeds Beckett students in BBC 6music top 10 albums of the year!

The Tom Williams album 'All Change', recorded at Headingley Campus with students from our School of Film, Music & Performing Arts features alongside Thundercat and alt-J in 6Music's albums of the year.

Get on the electoral register

If you want to have your say on local policy, you need to make sure you register to vote. If you've moved since you registered, then you'll need to update your details. Don't delay - have your say!

Christmas opening hours

Find out when our campus shops, cafes, bars and SU will close and reopen over the festive break.

Don't forget our libraries will be open 24/7 over the Christmas period for all your study needs.

Christmas dinner on campus

Looking for a venue for a special Christmas dinner with your friends? Reserve your Christmas themed table now at one of our Food Courts. A fantastic feed for a brilliant price - just £6 for a main and a dessert!

Warm up with eco-soup!

Enactus will be in the pop-up space by the SU Bar on City Campus tomorrow, 6 December, 11:30 - 13:30, serving up their home-made soup. Pay as you feel, all proceeds go to feeding the homeless in Leeds.

Are you protected against meningitis?

If you're a student who hasn't been protected against meningitis and you're aged 25 or under, you can still get vaccinated. Contact your GP and ask for the Men ACWY vaccine. More information here.

That Good Collective

Come to the SU Bar on 7 December, 17:00 - 22:00, to watch or take part in That Good Collective's Creative Showcase.

Expect anything from art stalls to fashion designers, singers to MCs. Interested in taking part? Submit your concept by tomorrow, 6 December.

Volunteer Winter Social

Are you a student volunteer, or interested in volunteering? Join the winter social to meet people and find out more!

Meet at 17:00, Wednesday 6 December, SU Bar, City Campus, to walk down to the Christmas Market.
