If you've already been to a Barnet VCS Environmental Network meeting then you'll automatically receive an invite and zoom link for our fourth on 17 June. If you've not joined us yet, then do sign up via eventbrite. These are informal and informative networking sessions for those working in the Barnet VCS, where we can come together to discuss environmental issues in the Borough, and work out how we as a sector can

Nudging Barnet: Behaviour Change and the Climate Emergency

Introducing “positive” behaviours in residents and businesses in Barnet to encourage initiatives to reduce climate impacts. This month's Barnet Climate Action Group (BCAG) meeting will discuss

The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2021 is now open
Up to £25,000 match funding available
The Christmas Challenge is a match funding campaign where donations to participating charities are doubled. The match funds come from two sources - charities secure some of these (Pledges) over the summer. These funds are then boosted by funds from a Big Give Champion who contributes to the match fund. This collective pot is used to double donations from online supporters when the campaign is live from 30 November 2021 to midday on 7 December. FOR MORE INFO & TO

A NATIONAL WEEK OF EVENTS CELEBRATING ACTION ON CLIMATE CHANGEIn September communities across the country will join together for the Great Big Green Week. It will be the biggest event for climate and nature ever in the UK, and everyone’s invited! If you are planning an event, let them know and they can add to their website and social media networks. Enterprise Development Programme (EDP)
Opens: 15 June, Closes: 13 July
The programme will be aimed at supporting Environmental not for profit voluntary or community organisations whose primary purpose is to deliver environmental programmes and projects. These will range from environmental conservation charities, Community growing CIC’s, community energy partnerships, Reuse and Recycle projects. They anticipate that organisations applying are already delivering activity which has the ability to become a business enterprise. They should also be able to clearly show, senior management support for the application, planning, and sustainability. MORE INFORMATION
