PNA HIGHLIGHTS & HAPPENINGS
As we enjoy Phestivus in PhinneyWood, our team is reflecting on 2022 and our incredible supporters. Your dedication and generosity allows us to bring neighbors together in so many ways! From our Hot Meal Program to our Greenwood Senior Center and events, our work increases belonging and celebrates community every day. This holiday season, we hope you'll consider making a meaningful donation to the PNA. Every gift supports our work to help strangers become neighbors, and neighbors become a welcoming and caring community. Happy holidays!
Holiday shopping in full swing? Pick up an extra gift to spread holiday cheer to neighbors in need through our Winter Wishes program! Simply sign up online, purchase a gift, and follow our instructions for delivery. FamilyWorks, the Greenwood Senior Center, and our Hot Meal Program need your help to make the holidays merry and bright!
What if this year we all bought as many gifts as possible from local businesses? Avoid shipping stress and support small businesses, it’s a win-win! Our Business Group debuted a local gift guide in 2020 to remind everyone that the best gifts are within walking distance. Our new guide is here to help you shop local while you're out celebrating Phestivus.
The Phinney Center and GSC will be closed Fri, Dec. 23 through Mon, Jan. 2 for winter break. The Tool Library will be open Fri, Dec. 23, 3-6 pm and Fri, Dec. 30, 3-6 pm. We wish you a wonderful holiday season filled with good cheer and community!
As our new holiday gift guide shows, the best gifts are local. But, how do you choose just one for that special someone? With the PhinneyWood Gift Card, they can have it all! The PhinneyWood Gift Card allows recipients to make purchases at more than twenty participating businesses. It’s easy to use and can be spent at multiple locations so long as there's a remaining balance.
More than 100 local makers and 4,700 shoppers enjoyed our 42nd Annual Winter Festival & Crafts Fair on Dec. 3 and 4. Our Phinney Center transformed into a holiday wonderland as neighbors connected with talented artisans, shopped, and supported the PNA. The festival raised over $50,000 for our community-driven programs! Community members gave more than 670 pounds of food to FamilyWorks as part of our festival food drive. Thank you to the volunteers, makers, sponsors, and shoppers who kept this beloved holiday tradition going strong! We're excited to bring the
community together for our next Winter Festival & Crafts Fair on Dec. 2 and 3, 2023.
Bring your well-behaved dogs to this fun holiday party! We'll have eggnog, treats, decorations, and, most importantly, Santa and Mrs. Claus. A photographer will be available to take your pooch’s picture. Festive apparel encouraged! Call to RSVP: 206.297.0875.

Volunteers help Village members with gardening, dog walking, home repairs, grocery shopping, social visits, and more! There’s something for everyone and the schedule is flexible! The next Zoom volunteer training is on Wed, Jan. 11 at 11 am. Email us to sign up and learn more: village@phinneycenter.org.
