Ukrainian Assistance

Over the April school holiday period, Ukrainian families of women and children have now started to arrive in Australia as refugees of the war in Europe.

Whilst many are relocating along the east coast, a small number of families have arrived in Perth, with a growing number – approximately 240 families are expected to arrive over the April school holidays. These families, mostly mothers and their young children require a variety of support to enable them to relocate themselves in Australia.

Some of these requirements include; short term accommodation, food, clothing, baby items, toys, toiletries etc.

So that we can ascertain how best to help these families, we are asking you to complete a survey if you are able to commit to providing support. This will allow for a considered and organised approach by our community which compliments the efforts of the Ukrainian community here in Perth.

Find out how you can help.

    COVID & Masks
Following the WA government’s most recent announcement regarding the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, PSA schools are delighted to be able to welcome the PSA community back for the start of the 2022 Winter sport season.

Whilst it is no longer a mandatory requirement unless you are a household close contact, individuals may choose to wear face masks, particularly in settings where it is not possible to social distance.

To minimise the spread of all infection, spectators are asked to continue good hygiene practices and reconsider the need to attend in person if they are feeling unwell.

    Parking
While our students appreciate large amounts of spectators, many PSA schools have limited parking on site. Please allow extra time to find a parking spot at schools such as Wesley and be aware council rangers do like to target any illegal street parking in the area.
