Eastern African Network on Disability Mainstreaming Seminar
The seminar took place in Bagamoyo, Tanzania on May 13 -17. Shikuku Obosi, Inclusion International’s consultant for Africa, was invited to represent Inclusion Africa as on observer.

Meeting of experts in Santiago de Chile
On May 14-15 specialists on disability issues that work in government, civil society and international organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean were convened in Santiago, Chile.
Inclusion International presented II's Global Report on Living in the Community 2012. This opened the discussion on “ protection” as a measure of attention/care to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, as it's understood by governments; and how it has led to practices that promote segregated care, exclusion, marginalization and poverty in most cases.…read more
