Outbreak response resources for Queensland providers in disability accommodation settings

The Queensland Government has released two new resources to support disability accommodation and residential service providers to prepare for, manage and respond to a COVID-19 outbreak.

Resources for Queensland providers in disability accommodation settings

Queensland Health has released two new resources to support your response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Disability accommodation and residential services business continuity checklist: COVID-19 outbreak management and preparation (Word, 382KB). This checklist provides best practice guidance for COVID-19 outbreak management and preparation for people with disability living in a disability accommodation or residential service.
  • Responding to a suspected case of COVID-19 in disability accommodation and residential Services (Word, 497KB). This document provides best practice guidance for effectively managing  a suspected case of COVID-19 in a person with disability living in a disability accommodation or residential service.

Both resources are also available on the Queensland Health website.

Be aware of current restrictions

Restrictions are in place for disability accommodation settings in Queensland. Visit the Queensland Health website to keep up to date with the current details about who can and cannot enter the premises.
