FGM launches Collective Fund to support the Greater Montreal community across all sectors
Last week, the Foundation of Greater Montréal’s (FGM) announced the creation of a new initiative, the COVID-19 Collective Fund. It’s goal is to support the Greater Montréal community during the current crisis by focusing on community organizations working in the fields of healthcare, education, culture, the environment and social development.

How Shopify’s CEO and his wife pivoted their charitable foundation to fund COVID-19 efforts
Although Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke and his wife Fiona McKean established the Thistledown Foundation only last year, they have already had to pivot their strategy and adjust it to the current crisis. For the time being, they have dedicated the foundation's resources to fund research on the coronavirus as well as efforts to improve domestic supply of personal protective equipment (PPE).

The Saskatchewan Nonprofit Partnership (SNP) has published an impact summary report on how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the operations and program delivery of nonprofit organizations in Saskatchewan. The survey, which garnered 522 responses, represents a broad range of the nonprofit sector in the province and provides a diversity of voices and offering perspectives from all types and sizes of organizations.

Boosting charitable donations during COVID-19 in Alberta
