Supporting agriculture with business continuity planning and managing the supply chain disruption - webinar series

The STAG has been informed by Agriculture News that BDO, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, will be delivering a series of important webinars with the first taking place tomorrow that should be of great interest to seafood exporters.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause widespread disruption, it is important for the agriculture sector to collaborate, protect and formulate action plans to alleviate risks in order to survive.

A series of webinars over the coming weeks will provide you with expert support to help you minimise the impact and lead discussions on the key issues as they unfold.

In the first live webinar, BDO’s Business Continuity Planning Partner, Mark Cushing and Food & Agribusiness Executive Director, Margaux Beauchamp will outline guidance measures the agriculture industry needs to consider in response to COVID-19, and discuss vital measures to prepare and protect the supply chain now, and over time. The session will cover:

  • Business continuity planning measures and action items for consideration (including impacts on sustainability, health & safety, technology and supply chain)
  • Insights and updates from within the industry’s supply chain working groups
  • Discuss strategies for supply chain protection as COVID-19 restrictions are put in place
  • Live Q&A time to answer specific questions you have or share issues you are facing.
