House hunting season is coming...

This Saturday 20 January UniPol will release its official list of approved accommodation for 2018/19. If you're looking to rent next year, this is the best place to view thousands of properties. Letting any earlier may end up costing you more

Free fruit and water in the Sheila Silver library

You can fuel your brain for free thanks to the Students' Union! They'll be in the library on City Campus today 13:00 - 15:30 giving out free fruit and water.


Free fitness classes

Your new year's resolutions just got cheaper! The university is running a number of sport and fitness activities for free as part of Give It A Go fortnight. Go here to find out what's on offer.


Had your meningitis vaccination yet?

If you're in your first year and under the age of 25, make sure you are vaccinated against meningitis. Contact your GP and get booked in if you haven't had your vaccination yet. Not registered with a GP yet? Do it here.

If you want to stay in assisted university accommodation for the upcoming academic year it is important to get your application in as places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Unite Foundation Scholarships open

Students who are estranged from their family or care leavers can now apply for the Unite Foundation Scholarship. The scholarships offer free accommodation in a Unite Property, with no rent or bills to worry about, 365 days a year, for three years.

A Night on the Acre

Give up a night of comfort to help raise money for and awareness of homelessness on the night of 23 February.

Funds raised will go to St George’s Crypt to support the homeless in Leeds.

This event is part of the Students' Union's Student Volunteering Week programme - keep your eyes out for more great events coming up!
