October 11, 2014 was a significant date in regards to my spiritual journey. In order to do justice to my testimony and the work God has done in my life, I must set a reference point as to where I was in order to show where God has brought me. One of the biggest things I struggle with is the desire to be seen as perfect by my own merits. I saw character growth as a competition and a way to measure how good I was compared to others. As a result, I fell into the mindset of placing sin into different categories and I have come to the conclusion that this is wrong.
