Kia Ora ,

Welcome to your first 500FootNote in a while. Can't believe it's March already and the seasons are starting to change. We hope you are enjoying the last of the summer sun and keeping safe and well.

We have some exciting events happening for you and some news from our community and partners. If there is something you would like to share please let us know.

The Organics bill is heading towards its second reading and our voice is needed to ensure it realises its full potential. Here is a letter you could sign and send that will support this important cause.

Last year the Primary Production Select Committee recognised the Organic Products Bill was not fit for purpose as introduced to Parliament in February 2020.  The overwhelming bulk of submissions received by the Committee, set out clearly the many aspects requiring change.  Sadly, MPI have recommended few changes and the new Select Committee has accepted that advice, leaving the Bill proposing a system which the Organic Sector finds unacceptable and undesirable.

We are so excited to bring you our
