Principal's Message Dear Parents, On behalf of our staff, I would like to wish everyone a Happy and Holy Christmas. After a very different year, I hope you have time with your families and loved ones and reflect on the true message of Christmas, our love for one another. Last Friday we held the Graduation Mass and I would like to thank Fr Tony and Louise Frewen for their work at putting the Mass together. For a number of weeks our plans kept changing as restrictions eased, until we were lucky enough to have Mass in the Church. At the Mass our 2020 award recipients were announced and I am pleased to share these with you. Weary Dunlop Award- Maya Embling Lions Club Award- Audrey Leech and Maya Embling Mercy Award- Charlotte Pittock Patrick Ryan Award- Belle Young Congratulations to these students they have shown exemplary leadership throughout a challenging year. Last night the Year 6 students enjoyed their Graduation dinner at the Temple Kitchen & Co, the venue and food was beautiful. Sincere thanks to Jane Murphy and her staff for making a memorable night for our students. Chloe Perry - Before the Graduation dinner began last night, we took time to remember Chloe Perry, who was a valued member of the graduating Class. She showed strength beyond her years through her illness. She was inspirational to everyone and we continue to remember her. Departing students - Tomorrow we will also be saying good bye Avie Hill, Grace Hill and Grace McKellar who are leaving us to attend Goulburn Valley Grammar School next year, and also Grace Kemp who is moving to Strathmerton. We wish these students all the very best and remind them they will always be part of the St John’s School community School Uniform - Christmas holidays are a great time to get new school shoes. All students must be wearing black school shoes (with no white visible), that are polishable. End of the School Year - Tomorrow is the students last day of school. School will conclude at 3:15pm. Please refer to the note that was emailed home today about the Guard of Honour tomorrow. CLASS OF 2020 Last night our Year 6 Graduation Class of 2020 enjoyed a lovely dinner at Temple & Co. After dinner, they enjoyed a presentation of their movie, speeches and awards. It was a great evening, enjoyed by all of the students and staff that attended. We wish them all the best as they move to their secondary education. We will miss you! Please only order off this modified list for the time being.
