We'll be supporting the Adelaide Sustainability Association and AUU Clubs for a week of workshops, lectures, film, market stalls and more. Debate the issues, confront the challenges and be inspired by all-things sustainability related. We're teaming up with Youth Food Movement to help you discover the secret powers of your toastie machine to go above and beyond the humble toastie and create everything from grilled veggies to french toast! Come along to this free event and get yourself some know-how on whipping up budget-friendly, nutritious and sustainable food in record time, while scoring a free meal. Bookings are essential. Visit Daz and Kaz at Treadly on Campus and they will give your bike a once-over. It's first in, first served with parts and accessories not included. Thursday 2 April, 10am to 3pm, Hub western courtyard Engaging politiciansDo you have an issue you’re passionate about and want to have your voice heard? Learn about the most effective ways to do it. As one of your local, state or federal politician’s constituents, your opinion holds a lot of weight, because your vote will help them win or lose elections. But it’s hard to know sometimes how best to communicate with them and make sure your voice is heard. We’ll be teaming up with the Australian Youth Climate Coalition SA during Sustainability Week to give you the full ‘politician engagement 101’, with tools and resources to help you write an effective letter to a federal minister, or meet them in person.
