NATE Statement Applauding the Nomination of Danielle Thumann Severs as FCC Commissioner

(Washington, D.C.) – NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association today applauds President Donald Trump’s inspired nomination of Danielle Thumann Severs to serve as a Commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Thumann Severs, who currently serves as Senior Counsel at the FCC, has demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing policies that promote communications infrastructure deployment, modernize regulations, expand access to wireless spectrum, and accelerate broadband connectivity across the United States. Earlier this year, NATE awarded Thumann Severs with the Association’s prestigious 2026 Regulatory Champion of the Year Award in recognition of her steadfast commitment to advancing policies that strengthen America’s communications infrastructure industry.
