Fly the Red Ensign for Merchant Navy Day
On Merchant Navy Day, Tuesday 3rd September, the UK Merchant Navy’s official flag, the Red Ensign, will be flown at more than 900 locations ashore, thanks to a nationwide campaign by Seafarers UK.
As an island nation the UK is dependent on seafarers for the safe shipment of 95% of our imports, including nearly half of the food we eat. To assist British seafarers and their families when they fall on hard times, Merchant Navy Fund grants administered by Seafarers UK are available to eligible charities and other service delivery organisations. Cycling challenge to support the maritime community
Thank you to our team of riders who took on the fantastic Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 earlier this month!

The trio of London's challenges in aid of Seafarers UK
Good luck to our swimmers taking on London's Swim Serpentine challenge next month! This is the first time we are participating at the event and we are grateful to the swimmers for raising awareness of our charity amongst a new audience, and their commitment to training and fundraising.
