VALE EVE MUIR
Equestrian Western Australia would like to extend our condolences to Michael, Harry, Angus and Patrick and family on the passing of Eve. Eve has been an active member of EWA for many years as well as successful breeder of performance horses. Her great compassion, humour, and passion for equestrian sports will be sadly missed.

MERINDA MARCH RESIGNS FROM BOARD
It is with regret that the Equestrian Western Australia Board has accepted the resignation of Merinda March. Merinda joined the Board in 2016 and her skills in strategic planning and organisational development have been a valuable asset during a time of transition for EWA. The Board thanks her for her involvement and contribution over the past few years.

POOL HORSES WANTED FOR APES GAMES
The Australasian Police and Emergency Services (APES) Games are a biennial event held throughout Australia and New Zealand and the 17th instalment will be hosted within the City of Mandurah from 28 October to 3 November 2018.
APES Games are hoping to attract Eastern States competitors for the Equestrian Competition section of the games. In order to facilitate this, the coordinators would like to obtain a list of people willing to provide pool horses. The equestrian coordinators will act as an initial contact point only and all other arrangements such as the cost of hire etc are to be made between the horse owner and the competitor.
The games will run at the Serpentine Horse and Pony Club Grounds on 1 & 2 November 2018. There will be Dressage up to Elementary Level, Show Horse, Western, Combined Training up to 95cm and Jumping up to 110cm.
