A client’s impression of the hotel is very much dependent on how good the staffs are at playing their roles. It is therefore vitally important that they display a prompt and courteous attitude to all guests and demonstrate their excellence in service in everything they do.

Clients are in direct contact with these staffs right from the beginning when they make their reservation. The staff will greet the clients upon arrival, escort them to their rooms and will have daily contact with the guests during their stay. Most importantly, they must give the guests a positive and memorable last impression when they check out.
To fulfill this important function, the staff must also be able to speak several different languages but, primarily English, as it is the international language. Miscommunication can be a serious problem.

Therefore they must be upfront about their English speaking and reading ability right from the beginning.
