The General Convention website has been launched www.lcasynod.org.au  It is also the homebase for information about General Pastors Conference and LWA Convention.

Delegates for General Convention were to be elected, with their details entered into LAMP, by 31 January. (Read these step-by-step instructions if you are having trouble entering your delegate's details into LAMP.) Please attend to this URGENTLY if this has not yet been done, as the Delegate Training program is already well underway - see below.

The Australian Lutheran Institute for Theology and Ethics (ALITE), in cooperation with the faculty of Australian Lutheran College, is hosting this international conference on the theology of Martin Luther to mark the 500th anniversary in 2017 of the Lutheran Reformation. The Luther@500 conference will be held from 28 June to 3 July 2016 at the Catholic Leadership Centre in East Melbourne. It promises to be the main theological conference of its nature in the Southern Hemisphere. It will be of interest to Luther scholars, theologians, clergy, students and laypeople of all denominations. Save the date.
