Have your say and help shape the futureRedlands Coast has a once-in-a generation opportunity to transform more than 62 hectares of community land at Birkdale into a world-class precinct; and Council is calling for your ideas to help shape the vision for this impressive site on Old Cleveland Road East. Imagine a place where families and individuals could come to play, swim, cycle and connect with others – a place for water play, adventure sports, walking and cycling trails, picnic areas, perhaps even paddock-to-plate dining or other ventures. To add your ideas, go to the Birkdale Community Precinct page where you will find concepts from five of the country’s top urban design teams; a virtual tour of the precinct; details about community open days on April 16 and 17; and an official survey.
