The Australian Government Department of Health (Department of Health) has issued a Disability Provider Alert with updated information for disability providers.

• The Department of Health has issued a new Disability Provider Alert. The alert contains important information about the vaccination process for people with disability living in residential accommodation and updated advice for disability workers.
• The Department of Health has created a new dedicated COVID-19 vaccine webpage for disability support workers.

Department of Health provider alert (26 May)

The Department of Health has issued a COVID-19 vaccination – Disability Provider Alert 26 May 2021.

The alert contains important information about the continued rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine, including:

• preparing for the vaccination process for people with disability living in residential accommodation
• supporting disability workers to be vaccinated.
