Scottish Golf

Members of Scottish golf clubs are once again being given the opportunity to play on three of the country’s most famous Open Championship venues at preferential green fee rates. And thanks to the generosity of Muirfield, Prestwick and Royal Troon, proceeds from all sales will go towards the development of junior golf in Scotland.

Due to the popularity of these offers, a ballot system will be in operation, so to make sure you are in with a chance of enjoying a memorable golfing experience, register your details on one or more of the courses below via the online form before 5pm on Wednesday 17 October.

What if I'm successful in the ballot?

You are limited to one application per course, with the option of selecting multiple dates, giving you the best chance of success in the ballot. Booking is subject to the terms and conditions set out by each club and Scottish Golf.

To be eligible for this special offer, each player must be a member of a Scottish Golf affiliated club. If you are successful, you will receive notification of your allocated date no later than Monday 22 October with an online form to complete your payment.

MUIRFIELD: The world famous East Lothian links has hosted The Open Championship on no fewer than 16 occasions, the most recent of which was in 2013 when Phil Mickelson clinched his first Claret Jug in dramatic style with one of the best back nines in Open history. A memorable experience is guaranteed and we have one four-ball tee-time available every Tuesday and Thursday from November through to the end of March for £300.

PRESTWICK: A must-play for every golf enthusiast, Prestwick hosted the first Open Championship in 1860. A course steeped in history, Ernie Els states that it is one of the best golfing experiences in the world. You can enjoy a four-ball at Prestwick with tee-times available every Monday from November through to the end of March for £280.

ROYAL TROON: Host to nine Open Championships, few have been more memorable than Henrik Stenson’s titanic battle with Phil Mickelson in 2016 when the Swede’s final round 63 gave him his first Major. Now you can take on your own challenge at Troon with a tee-time available on the first Tuesday of each month throughout the winter, at £300 per four-ball.
