HAVE YOUR SAY IN THE EQUESTRIAN AUSTRALIA AWARDS
The Equestrian Australia Annual Awards have undergone a format change. As Equestrian Australia constantly looks at ways to engage with our membership, this new process allows you, our members, to have a voice and make your mark on the National Recognition Awards for the first time ever!
The online voting platform, only open to EA registered members, will close in 1 week, on the 2nd April at 11:59 pm AEDT, so get your votes in now!
COACH OF THE MONTH - RUTH SCHNEEBERGER
Ruth Schneeberger is an EA level 2 General and Dressage Coach based in Mount Torrens, South Australia. She was born and grew up in Switzerland where she achieved the highest level in her coaching qualifications before moving to Australia. "It is very rewarding to see riders improving themselves and their horses. I always try to improve a horse's self-carriage, try to teach the rider, how to achieve and maintain it. Another really important thing for me is accuracy!"
COACH OF THE MONTH is a regular Education series on our website. It is a way of highlighting the EA coaches and educators who work with dedication and passion all over Australia.

"We are older women who have raised their families, finished careers, and now have found the time and the freedom to return to their love of horses! With the help of the lovable Clydesdale Gus and the other horses, our coach Angela has us saddled up and ready to ride! Perhaps we can no longer ground mount and we think twice before jumping that trot pole but we are back!"

EA plans to support and develop more accessible events and competition series to bridge gaps so riders of all ages and skill levels can continue their progress within the sport. Funding is also needed for resources for junior development.

Equestrian Australia (EA) is pleased to announce that it has renewed its partnership with the Riding for Disabled Association of Australia (RDA).

The finalists for the 2018 Sportscover Clubbies Awards are online now! Don't miss our Equestrian finalists!
