'Making Good Neighbors' Author on GJC Panel

The Germantown Jewish Centre, 400 Ellet St., welcomes Weavers Way member Abby Perkiss, author of "Making Good Neighbors: Civil Rights, Liberalism and Integration in Post War Philadelphia" and others to a panel discussion focusing on the history and legacy of integrating Mt. Airy. Panelists will attempt to move beyond the utopian myths we sometimes subscribe to and address some of the complications and contradictions that beset the experience.
