St John's is a Child Safe School where all children are respected and are protected from harm. ![]() Principal's Message Dear Parents, Welcome to Week 5! Halfway through the term. Athletics Sports - Our Athletic Sports last week was a great day. As usual Mrs Watson had the day planned meticulously and it ran like clockwork. The students were beautifully behaved and we all had a lot of fun together. A special thank you to the Euroa Secondary College students who helped run events on the day, they did a superb job. Congratulations to Blue team who were victorious on the day. Drink bottles - Please make sure your child brings a named water bottle to school each day. Due to the COVID restrictions students are not allowed to use the drinking fountains. Sunscreen - Now that the weather is warming up, could you please make sure that your child applies sunscreen before they come to school, this gives students a good base of protection for the day. School Board AGM - Our school board AGM was postponed from earlier this year but is now scheduled for 24th November. This is a non-voting AGM. Hot Shots Tennis - Tomorrow we welcome back past student Kyle Andrews to our school. Kyle will be teaching tennis skills in PE. Libby Hamilton. Calendar of Events
Religious Education Week 5 Prayer Amended Mass Times - A limit of 20 Worshippers applies - In each celebration, people coming along will need to enter their names in a register, sanitise before coming into the church, and wear face masks throughout. There will be no singing. Year 6 Leadership T-Shirts 2021 - Before the end of term 3, an email was sent to our current year 5 families regarding the ordering of their year 6 leadership t-shirts for the 2021 school year. Please note that due to COVID restrictions we will be unable to have students try the shirts on. When you log on to CDF pay to order, there is a size guide for you to view. Please phone the office if you have any queries regarding the shirts. REGISTRATIONS OPEN FOR SOCIAL BASKETBALL!!! Euroa Basketball are running 18 and under basketball outside, as per Covid restrictions. Play will take place with strict Covid procedures at the St. Johns courts. Only rostered officials and players will be allowed inside the fence. Under 18 will pay $75 which includes $25 BV registration for the year. 18 year olds will pay $89 (due to increased BV rate). Parents need to set up a Play HQ account and then register each child under that membership. This is a new process for all basketball this year and it is an easier process. If it rains we can add more games to the end. We are also calling for expression of interest for Youth girls (year 7-12) (please don't register because we need numbers first). This would be on a Monday night around 6.15.
