A special thumbs up to the OC of the 2017 Australian Adult Amateur Dressage Championships held recently at Caboolture QLD,  for their initiative in adding some special prizes and awards into their schedule – in particular the AAA Riders Award which was awarded by the TD and Chief Steward for Rider Conduct at the event!

FEI VAULTING JUDGES & STEWARDS PROMOTION

The Sydney International Equestrian Centre hosted a Level 1 course to FEI 2* and Level 2 course to FEI 3*, 4* Promotion course for Judges with Erich Breiter, and the Promotion to FEI Steward with Frank Spadinger following the Equestrian Australia Vaulting Championships on 2-6 October 2017

Congratulations to EA Vaulting Judges Tristyn Lowe and Jenny Scott for completing the 5 day Level 1 course on their successful promotion to FEI 2* Vaulting Judge, and to Darryn Fedrick’s completion of the Level 2 course, and attaining an FEI 3* qualification.  These FEI Promotion courses for Judges were conducted by Erich Breiter from Austria, himself a retired 4* Judge and currently working on the new FEI online campus.  It was a very long exhaustive 5 days for this talented cohert of Judges as our Observers Angie Deeks and Lyn Lynch can attest!

EA and FEI Stewards also attended a successful 3 days course with Frank Spadinger (fresh from Judging the Nationals the weekend before), and congratulations also go to Bianca Stawiarski (SA), Melanie Fedrick (QLD) and Andrea Webb (NSW).

Interviews from our Course Directors and some attendees follow.
