Over the past two weeks, Equestrian WA has been in active discussion about what the future structure and governance of Equestrian Australia could look like. To support the consultation process with members and stakeholders, the Branches have established a governance committee, with Matt Miller as the Independent Chair. The governance committee will be engaging in extensive member consultation to provide all members and stakeholders with an opportunity to participate in the process of reform, provide feedback and ultimately decide how the sport is shaped into the future. Yesterday, the Branches submitted an Initial Project Plan to the Administrators to demonstrate the consultation process that will be undertaken. Equestrian WA has not formed any particular view about the future structure and governance of EA, and at this time our priority is engaging with members and providing members with a voice about what the future should look like.
