Summer STM Photo Blitz

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes...Romans 1:16 (ESV)

Photos have been pouring in from OPC short-term mission fields this summer!

They are all posted under "Photos and Testimonials" at OPCSTM.org.

We share a few with you here.....you'll see lots of smiling faces!

Many thanks to all those who shared their photos with us!

But first, two opportunities to consider...

We are looking for people interested in volunteering for disaster relief work in Puerto Rico in the next 2-3 months, in response to last year’s Hurricane Maria. Service will include manual labor requiring varying degrees of skill, and perhaps helping the OPC churches there with community outreach.

Please contact MariaVolunteers@opc.org to express your interest.

The Boardwalk Chapel in Wildwood, NJ, offers a great short-term missions opportunity for church groups!

Rev. Jim Jordan from Church of the Covenant OPC (Hackettstown, NJ) gave this report following his church group's recent week serving as a Ministry Team at the Boardwalk Chapel:

Ministry Team Openings
at the Boardwalk Chapel

"While many churches focus on bringing their youth group, I see this as a great opportunity for church members of all ages to be trained in evangelism and grow in boldly speaking of Christ. Not only is it amazing to see what the Lord is doing through the ministry on the boardwalk in Wildwood, but team members return home with a greater enthusiasm to practice evangelism in their community."
