Making Woodend safer

Story
Story

Kia ora

You have been identified as having an interest in the NZ Transport Agency’s investigation of the State Highway 1 corridor within the Woodend community – so it is safer and more accessible for all users.

This project is about making improvements in and around the Woodend section of SH1 as it is today, to help make it safer and more accessible over the next 10 years.

Do you agree?

In 2016, some members within the Woodend community provided the NZ Transport Agency with valuable feedback on the challenges they face using SH1 through their town.

We appreciated that information and want to check it with you.

Have we got it right? Has anything changed?

An overview of the Woodend Corridor Improvements project, a summary of commonly held views and a project map is available online here. You can also download the full report on feedback gathered from the Woodend community in 2016.

Submit your feedback through our online form here or come along to our public drop in session:

Monday 29 October 2018
Woodend Community Centre,
Meeting Room B
6A School Road
Call in any time from 2-7pm

The project team will be there to answer questions and take your feedback and suggestions.

Feedback submissions close 5pm Friday 9 November 2018.
